Don't sow into the flesh!

One of the most important things in sowing seeds and harvesting is where you put your seeds. Seeds can be very selective.  Some seeds will not thrive or grow on all grounds. Invariably, whatever seeds you want to plant can determine the choice of your ground.  

So the scriptures advise that you should not sow into the flesh but into the spirit. This is because when you sow into the flesh you will have a harvest of corruption.

Gal 6:8 KJV
For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

The things of the flesh are things
that do not glorify God. They are the carnal and sinful things and they are guaranteed to produce corruption.

However, when you sow to the spirit, you will reap life everlasting. Start sowing into the things of the spirit, sow your time into God’s presence, sow your finances into God’s work and expect a harvest of life.

Decide to sow wisely. Decide to sow consistently. Decide to sow deliberately.

CONFESSION FOR THE DAY
I will plant the right kind of seed. I will keep sowing into the Spirit and not into the flesh

PRAYER FOR THE DAY
Lord, you give seed to the sower. Give me the right kind of seeds to sow today in Jesus name.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
Gal 6:8 AMP
For he who sows to his own flesh (lower nature, sensuality) will from the flesh reap decay and ruin and destruction, but he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.

ACTION PLAN FOR THE DAY
Take inventory of the kind of seeds you are sowing daily.
