5 mistakes often made in relationships and marriage

1.         When you don’t forgive easily. You want others to feel your pain and you flaunt your displeasure. You exaggerate and perpetuate offences against you. You delight is strife and you court unforgiving spirit.

Smart people know how to hold their tongue; their grandeur is to forgive and forget.

2.         When you betray the loyalty reposed in you. You disappoint
the one that believed in you most. You deliberately sow seeds of mistrust by double dating and getting involved in adulterous flings.

Adultery is a brainless act, soul-destroying, self-destructive;

3.         When you refuse to seek counsel from accessible mentors. When your foolishness is obvious and you deliberately avoid the path of wisdom that God has surrounded you with.

Proverbs 4:5 MSG

Sell everything and buy Wisdom! Forage for Understanding! Don't forget one word! Don't deviate an inch!

4.         When you refuse to admit your mistake. You prefer to hide your transgression and act righteous. You allow pride and ego to get your consciences seared.

1 John 1:9 MSG

On the other hand, if we admit our sins--make a clean breast of them--he won't let us down; he'll be true to himself. He'll forgive our sins and purge us of all wrongdoing.

5.         When you surround yourself with the wrong set of people. You do not choose your friends, and you allow access into your life, relationships, marriage and home without taking into account what influence is being brought your way.
