5 things women wish men knew about them

1.    A woman wants a lot of care and attention from her husband. She wants to feel loved. She wants to be secured. She doesn't just want his money, she wants his time.

2.    A woman wants to be listened to. While a man speaks an average of ten thousand words a day, a woman has twenty five thousand words bubbling inside her. She doesn’t like it when she is trying to exhaust her quota of words, and the husband has dozed off!

3.    A married woman wants her husband to
know she enjoys sex only when she feels loved. It takes time for her to be ready, an average of twenty minutes of foreplay, while her husband
needs less than ten seconds! When there is sex without corresponding love, she feels used.

4.    A woman wants to be understood. She wants her husband to know that she may not be logical in her arrangement of thoughts like the man, but she is intuitive, far more intuitive than her husband.

5.    A woman wants her husband to know that she can sense trouble miles away because of the way she has been wired. When she insists on an issue, it is not an attempt to take over the headship of the house, but because of her conviction. While she understands her role in submission and allowing her husband to have the final say, it does not in any way make her suggestion inferior or her person subservient.

The same goes for you husbands: Be good husbands to your wives. Honor them, delight in them. As women they lack some of your advantages. But in the new life of God's grace, you're equals. Treat your wives, then, as equals so your prayers don't run aground.
